Mousegun is coming to the Playdate!
We’re approaching the end of August—and the end of development on Mousegun for the Playdate.
In the summer of 2023, Isaac visited South Korea and played Total Battery’s IFO on the Playdate. Once back in the States, he ordered one—and waited, and waited. When it finally arrived a few months later, work on Mousegun began.
Mousegun is not a port of the Steam version, but a complete remake. Due to the hardware limitations of the Playdate, coding hasn’t been easy. The 1-bit art graphics, however, have been a joy to bring to life.
We’re aiming to release this fall. 🙂 In the meantime, here are some gameplay GIFs!

Highscores are live for Mousegun on Steam. If you haven’t updated the game in awhile, open up steam to get your highscore on the leaderboard!

After considerable feedback about Escape: Mouse Gun’s name, Silvermedal is proud to announce the updated title:
MOUSEGUN. It is short, sweet, and to the point. People were confused assuming Escape was an “escape room” type game.
Over the next few weeks we will be rebranding the game and all marketing material to reflect the new name.
